About Us

First Cycling Tour offers bicycle, walking tour and shared tuk tuk tours in the city of Battambang - found by Raksa Soy and Rida Phin in 2017. Growing up in Battambang, both Raksa and Rida attended the University of Battambang. After graduating, both decided to start the First Cycling Tour to provide tourists with information on cultural, historical and contemporary heritage in their beloved city. Our aim is to help and share with all of the visitors our beautiful and interesting place in Battambang.

Battambang is a beautiful city in Cambodia. There are many rich aspects of the Khmer culture. There are many beautiful places, architecture, colorful markets, a nice view of temples, fishing villages, beautiful landscapes and the fields of rural villages.

First Cycling Tour is not just a tour company but a place where we help young students to gain experience by working in our shop. We welcome students who have a dream and passion to own their own business. Here, we share our knowledge and experiences. 

First Cycling Tour offers a half-day tour, share tuk tuk tour and a city walk tour, located at street 2.5, number 85, Battambang 02000, Cambodia.

Khmer Prahuk

Prahuk (fish paste) is a very important ingredient in Khmer cuisine, it is very salty with a strong smell and is made from all kinds of fish. We have bone prahuk made from small fish, and meat prahuk made from large fish that have been stripped of their bones. Cambodians use it in soups or for sauces, it can be kept for when there is no fresh fish available or for people living in remote areas. We also donate prahuk, dried fish, rice, salt and other food to other people in areas affected by natural disasters. As the Khmer saying goes "no prahuk, no taste", it refers to food that tastes delicious. It can be eaten cooked or raw according to the preferences of Cambodian people. We can store it for up to one or two years, depending on the method used, and in a clean storage place.
